Polar Gloss Metallic is the for FaceMount Acrylic HD Prints an inkjet equivalent of photo lab metallics like Kodak’s Endura Metallic™ and Fujicolor Crystal Archive™ Digital Pearl Paper. Polar Gloss Metallic has a high gloss finish and a pearlescent base stock that yields an elegant iridescence in your images.
What types of images look good on this surface?
You generaly have only have 1 choice for acrylic mounted prints and that is a gloss. We only use Canson Premium Photogloss and Polar Metallic papers both will add luminescence and depth to any Face Mount Acrylic HD Prints. Though some types of images really lend themselves to being printed on a metallic surface. Images with solid colors, reflections, and negative space (whites) will look especially stunning on this new paper especially black & white images. For your limited editions we can also offer a (COA) Certificate of Authenticity. We also recommend that you choose images with as high resolution, at least 300 dpi and 15-25 mb in RGB. It is not recommended to use a paper that has a textured or matt surface this can cause Silvering (Thousand of tiny air bubbles) therefore we do not offer it. At the moment we can only do prints up to 60 cm wide by any length. So if you have a custom size in mind let us know.
